Trying to plan a kayaking trip in Arkansas on the Ouachita River?

We wanted to be able to carry our stuff with us (like tent and cooking and clothes ect.) and stop at camp sites on the way. Also, we wanted to find a place where we could snorkel. Thanks!

1. You shouldn't have any trouble with any of it....contact Lake Quachita....and ask them to send you a map of the lake.....Most of the time you can get one when you are at the lake....they are quite a few places that carry them......snorkel....wow, there are quite a few people that snorkel in Quachita... You can camp anywhere on the lake.....I believe there are only a few homes along the river that you might not be able to camp ....but, the whole lake is open........Have fun...enjoy the wild life....You'll love the beauty of the mountains that surround the lake
