If we burn our bridges, does that mean we have to paddle our own canoes?

1. When you make a choice, you have to live with the consequences of that choice, yes.........So if you are burning your bridges, at least make sure you have an oar in the canoe!
2. Hopefully, you're paddling that canoe fast downstream when the bridge gets burned.
3. Yes. Those who burn their own bridges (in a symbolic sense of course) should always provide for another course of action, whether it is a canoe or some other alternative.
